Aishling's Biography
Originally from Ireland, Aishling moved to Vancouver in 2016 and worked as a Registered Veterinary Technician for 5 years before going to law school. Aishling has a BSc in Zoology from the University of Galway, a BSc in Veterinary Nursing from the Atlantic Technological University, and an MSc in Animal behaviour and welfare from Queens University Belfast. Aishling received her Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC in 2024. While at UBC, Aishling participated in several legal clinics including the Law Student’s Legal Advice Program as a clinic head, providing free legal advice to low-income clients and the UBC Criminal Law Clinic, where she acted as co-defence counsel on two trials at the Provincial Court.
Outside of the office, Aishling likes to spend time with her cats and husband, play video games, read fantasy books and go whale watching.
