Vavilov: Is it Good for Local Governments?

Russian spies, citizenship revocation, and the illegals program are topics that this session does not cover. Vavilov, 2019 SCC 65 (where the Court ultimately gave Mr. Vavilov back his citizenship) for local governments. This case has had a wide-ranging effect on all administrative decision making and has had some very significant implications for local government decision makers, from Council to building inspector.
