Alexandra joined Young Anderson as an associate in September of 2021, after completing full articles with the firm. She maintains a broad municipal law practice, with particular interests in real estate and development.

Originally from Ukraine, Alexandra has earned her LL.B with Honours and LL.M at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In 2020, she obtained her LL.M. (CL) at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. Prior to relocating to Canada, Alexandra practiced law for five years, including two years as in-house counsel and a head of the legal department at a municipal government. While at the Peter A. Allard School of Law, she was a student clinician at the University’s Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, where she provided free legal advice to low-income clients.

In her leisure time, Alexandra enjoys hiking, traveling, playing piano, and spending time with her family and friends.
