Timothy's Biography
Timothy (he/him) is an associate at Young, Anderson. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Alberta, and a Juris Doctor and Master's in Community and Regional Planning from the University of British Columbia. Timothy was first called to the bar in Alberta (2012) and, prior to joining Young, Anderson, worked as in-house counsel for a major national insurer, where he maintained a broad litigation practice. Timothy has appeared regularly before provincial and superior courts in British Columbia and Alberta.
Timothy maintains a general solicitor's practice, with a focus on land use planning, while also providing a range of litigation services to his clients. Timothy's legal experience and training as a planner gives him unique insights into the needs of municipal clients, allowing him to provide meaningful advice and guidance. Timothy is a member of the executive team of the municipal law subsection of the Canadian Bar Association – BC Branch.
In his free time, Timothy enjoys spending time with friends and family, fencing, and writing.
